Hi Brown! I'm Melissa, a junior concentrating in BEO serving as your Class Coordinating Board Vice President and a thrower on the Track & Field team. I’m from Irvine, California and you’ll often find me eating at the Ivy Room, taking pictures of sunsets, enjoying the Providence snow, or giving tours.
I'm running to provide support systems to elevate the unique passions of each Brown student that have taught me so much and inspired me throughout my time here. I am ready, willing, and able to fight to make UCS and administrators function as a relevant and accessible resource for every Brown student by including initiatives that are reflective of the needs and wants of all students on campus. I want to work towards a safe and inclusive campus where every students feels that they belong where hard work doesn’t go unsupported. I’ve found my home here at Brown and want the same for everyone else here.
